Description
From one of Spain's most exciting author-illustrators making her English-language debut, this whimsical illustrated novel has the fantasy of Miyazaki, the imagination of Tove Jansson, the tenderness of Charlotte's Web, and the magic of E.T. In the middle of the night, three lights fall from the sky. What are they? They don't look like fireflies. Mole and his earthworm friends are taken by surprise. What are they going to do with these newcomers? In these pages, Maria Ramos tells the story of a little improvised family that grows and changes together--one that will face many challenges to help the three little lights find their true home. Brimming with imagination and tenderness, and offering abundant, whimsical illustrations, this story enlivens the mind, while penetrating straight to the heart.
