The Lewis Center’s Program in Creative Writing annually presents the Althea Ward Clark W’21 Reading Series, which provides an opportunity for students, as well as all in the greater Princeton region, to hear and meet outstanding contemporary writers. All readings, which are free and open to the public, begin at 6:00 p.m. at Labyrinth Books, located adjacent to the campus at 122 Nassau Street in Princeton. Authors’ books will be available for purchase and signatures at all readings.

Miriam Toews is the author of eight bestselling novels: Fight Night, Women Talking, All My Puny Sorrows, Irma Voth, The Flying Troutmans, A Complicated Kindness, A Boy of Good Breeding, and Summer of My Amazing Luck, and two works of nonfiction, Swing Low: A Life and A Truce that is not Peace which was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award in Autobiography.  She is a winner of the Governor General’s Award for Fiction, the Libris Award for Fiction Book of the Year, the Rogers Writers’ Trust Fiction Prize, and the Writers Trust Marian Engel/Timothy Findley Award. She lives in Toronto.
