Description
This landmark publication presents the most faithful edition of the 1611 King James Bible available today. It reproduces the seventeenth-century text in roman type-page for page, line for line, and letter for letter-including original spellings and the typesetting errors made by the first printers. Also included are reproductions of the original illustrated initial letters as well as the full preliminaries such as the Epistle Dedicatorie to King James, the prefatory note from the Translators to the Reader, and the biblical genealogies. This convenient paperback edition now includes a full introduction and detailed annotations of the preliminary pages.
