Description
In March 1871, Henry Morton Stanley went to Africa to find David Livingstone. This is a retelling of this expedition, in the form of the journal of John Shaw, one of two white men who accompanied Stanley. Stanley's obsession with finding Livingstone is portrayed in the book.
