Please join SavetheMJL for this fundraiser with poet Paul Muldoon. Paul was born in County Armagh in 1951. He now lives in New York. A former radio and television producer for the BBC in Belfast, he has taught at Princeton University for thirty-five years. He is the author of 15 collections of poetry including Moy Sand and Gravel, for which he won the 2003 Pulitzer Prize, and Joy in Service on Rue Tagore, published by FSG and Faber and Faber in 2024. From 2022-2025, Paul serves as the Ireland Professor of Poetry.

This event will include a reading and conversation with Paul and light refreshments. Paul’s books will be available for purchase and signing.

This event is presented by SavetheMJL, a group dedicated to preserving the Mary Jacobs Memorial Library.

All funds raised go directly to SavetheMJL to fund the lawsuit against the Mary Jacobs Foundation to preserve the Mary Jacobs Memorial Library in Rocky Hill - an invaluable community resource – and to ensure that the intent and dictates of Harold Jacobs are honored. No funds will be given to Mary Jacobs Foundation or Mary Jacobs Memorial Library.
