Description
In 1939-45 the British government, through the Ministry of Information, disseminated propaganda among European neutrals, in order to enhance the allied cause in the Second World War. The neutrals' behavior in relation to the belligerents could materially affect the outcome of the war, and could not be left to chance-or the effort of diplomats alone.
